Anoraa was founded on a clear observation — the functional and sensory quality of everyday spices has declined due to modern processing and supply chain practices.
Spices are naturally defined by their volatile oils, colour compounds, and structural integrity.
However, conventional systems prioritise yield, shelf stability, and cost efficiency, often exposing spices to excessive heat, aggressive grinding, and prolonged storage. This leads to degradation of essential oils, loss of aroma, and reduced potency. Standardised blending across multiple sources further ensures uniformity, but often at the cost of character and intrinsic quality.
Anoraa was established to address these gaps through a controlled, transparent approach to sourcing and processing.
Kangan Shukla brings expertise in quality evaluation and consumer insight, while Mohit Chavda contributes operational strength in structured procurement and process efficiency. Together, they have built a model that prioritises ingredient integrity over scale.
Sourcing is guided by strict parameters such as maturity, density, colour stability, and oil retention, with procurement managed through traceable, controlled channels. Post-harvest handling is minimal — spices are dried under monitored conditions and ground at regulated temperatures to preserve volatile oils. Each batch is processed in limited quantities to ensure consistency.
No artificial additives or fillers are introduced at any stage.
